FQBWN Funds New Police Patrol Bike
We are proud to announce that due to strong membership participation and attendance at our events, FQBWN was able to fully fund one brand new state-of-the-art Police Patrol bike for NOPD.
The cost was $1000 and we bought the first bike for First District to kick off their challenge to the City, businesses and residents to help fund the rest of the bikes and tools needed for this new phase of patrols. NOPD hopes to fund bikes for all districts to get their officers out of cars, on the streets and more accessible to the public to deter crime.
We are pleased to be able to do something very tangible and necessary for our Police Force, so when you see one of the bike officers, smile, that might be your bike!
General Membership meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at a member business in the French Quarter. The meetings alternate monthly between luncheons with speakers and evening networking sessions.
